Tobago Cays

Tobago Cays is truly the jewel of the Caribbean.

Situated in the middle of the 'Grenadines' you can arrive only by boat (or a helicopter ride over the islands if you have bucks)

The archipelago is made up of five small islands, Petit Rameau, Petit Bateau, Baradal, Petit Tabac and Jamesby.

You may recognise Petit Tabac (below)

for being in the movie 'Pirates of the Cairbbean: The Black Pearl'

(And yes we did find out where the rum went....)

This beautiful island is surrounded by the aptly named 'worlds end reef' and is full of tropical marine life

which you can dive on with the local dive companies that reside on the nearby islands of Mayreau/Union Island.

You then have petit Rameau, where small boats gather to be of service to the yachts staying on the mooring balls,

You can get everything from these guys, but the one we loved the most was 'Mr quality' that man has curated a booming business from his little motorboat full of suitcases and trunks; whats in them?

A ton of t-shirts in all sizes and colours, with a local artist's logo printed on

as well as this, he can get your ice, take your trash, and even find you rum, cigarettes, or anything else you missed off your shopping list! (all for a small price!)

Above is the beach bar on petit Rameau-grab some bbq or locally brewed Hairoun beer!

Want to see turtles?

Get your boat/butt over to Baradal, This is the location for the infamous turtle sanctuary!

Arrive early or stay overnight and wake up early before the yachts begin to move, we recomended 6:30am

Get up and get swimming, the turtles are 'waking up' and eating a big breakfast of the lush sea grass beds under your yacht moorings. Practice your freediving and get up close to these cuties!

As for the other islands, Jamesby and petit Bateau, go for walks along their many little beaches or hike up the hill at Jamesby for an insane aerial view of the cays

We hope you love it here as much as we have!
